Kang Ha Neul ( Dongju: The Portrait of a Poet) takes the lead role of the protagonist who struggles to prove his innocence with the help of a passionate lawyer played by Jung Woo ( The Himalayas). Hyun Woo (Kang Ha Neul) is the sole witness in a middle-aged taxi drivers murder case, but he gets falsely accused as the killer. Brutally forced into confessing to the crime despite the lack of evidence, he is subsequently sentenced to ten years in jail. Attorney Joon Young (Jung Woo) volunteers for a free legal advice group where he meets Hyun Woo. After learning about Hyun Woos story, Joon Young decides to help prove his innocence.
