Just about everyone wants to go abroad, but hotel concierge Lu Tu (Ethan Ruan) is satisfied with his life in Shanghai with girlfriend Juan (Du Juan). Then one day, US-based entrepreneur Mr. Mi (Michael Miu) shows up to recruit workers for a luxury hotel in New York. Though Lu Tu is not interested in going to America, Juan very much is & chooses to leave first with Mr. Mi. When she arrives in New York, she quickly discovers that everything is a scam. By the time Lu Tu gets to New York, Juan has already become the lover of an Italian mob boss.
