Portuguese helmet manufacturer Nexx finally took it upon themselves to develop a flip-up style helmet: Meet the X. Vilitur! The X. Vilitur is a sporty take on a known concept & Nexx managed to leave no stone unturned. The X. Vilitur checks all the boxes! With a very neutral intermediate oval fit & comfortable, fasty drying X.MART interior, the X. Vilitur will appeal to many riders! Constructed from their own X. Matrix fiber composite material, which is a combination fiber glass, kevlar, aramid & carbon fiber, the helmet is relatively lightweight & comes in at 1625 g (+/- 50 g). Looking at it's features, this is quite impressive! The X. Vilitur comes with a drop down sun visor, an optical class 1 Pinlock ready visor (Pinlock lens included) & is prepared to be equipped with a Nexx X-Com 2 Bluetooth intercom system. The X-Com 2 fits the helmet seamlessly. The X. Vilitur is a well thought out piece of equipment. Apart from adjustable intake vents, it also sports adjustable exhaust vents on the back of the head. The chin piece locking mechanism is entirely made from stainless steel, just like the micro-ratchet chin strap buckle. As a nice touch, the X. Vilitur comes with a couple of foam inserts to modify the fit of the helmet & even 2 Go Pro mounting platforms.
